App development, London
We build apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, and we run our own.
AMEDYA is an app development company in London. The same team that designs, builds and runs Dream Decoder, TalkMate, VOGLA and Kindedo builds apps for startups and established businesses, from the first sketch to the store listing and every update after.

What we build
iPhone and iPad apps
Native Swift and SwiftUI apps that feel at home on iOS: widgets, Live Activities, Sign in with Apple, StoreKit subscriptions and iPad layouts that use the whole screen.
Android apps
Native Kotlin and Jetpack Compose apps built for the range of Android phones and tablets, with Google Play Billing, notifications and Material design.
Cross-platform apps
One codebase for iOS, Android and the web when time to market matters most, with shared business logic so both apps behave the same.
Apps with AI built in
Chat, real-time voice, image generation and personal assistants, running on the models that suit your budget and privacy needs.
Subscriptions and payments
Free trials, monthly and annual plans, lifetime purchases and paywalls, set up in App Store Connect and Google Play and tested before launch.
Apps for children and families
Apps that meet the App Store Kids category and Google Play Families rules: parental gates, no tracking and privacy by default.
Apps we built and run ourselves
Every product below was designed, built, launched and is maintained by our team. Clients get the same people and the same standards.

Ways to work with us
A new app, start to finish
We scope, design, build and launch a first version with a fixed price and timeline agreed up front.
Best for a new product with a clear goal.
A product team by the month
Designers and developers working on your roadmap every month, planned in short cycles you can change.
Best for products that are already live and growing.
Take over an existing app
We review the code you have, fix what is urgent and keep the app updated for new iOS and Android versions.
Best when a previous developer has moved on.
Questions clients ask
How much does it cost to build an app?
It depends on the platforms, the number of screens and what happens behind them, such as accounts, payments or AI. After a first call we send a written scope with a fixed price and a timeline, at no cost to you, so you know the full figure before anything starts.
How long does it take to build an app?
A focused first version usually takes a few months from the first call to the App Store. The written scope breaks the work into stages with dates, and you can try a working build at the end of each stage.
Should my app be native or cross-platform?
Native apps (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android) give the best performance and the newest platform features. Cross-platform saves time when the app is mostly forms and content. We build both and will recommend one based on what your app needs to do.
Who owns the code and the app?
You do. The app is published under your own App Store and Google Play accounts, and the code and designs we make for you are handed over to you.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. We are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share the details of your idea.
Can you take over an app another developer built?
Yes. We start with a code review, tell you plainly what state it is in, then fix the urgent issues and keep it up to date.
Do you work with clients outside the UK?
Yes. We are based in London and work with clients across Europe and further afield. Our own apps are used in up to 16 languages around the world.
What happens after launch?
We can stay on to fix what users report, update the app for each new iOS and Android release, and add features as you grow. Most of our own products get updates every few weeks.
